About the role
- Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting documentation for fiber optic telecom equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate technical information.
- Automate documentation build and publishing processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Deploy documentation to web portals or internal platforms using scripts or automation tools.
- Monitor and maintain documentation servers and troubleshoot build issues.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
- Implement quality checks (linting, link validation) in automated workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience
- Telecom Equipment – Fiber Optics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
