About the role
- Act as the primary sourcing liaison for product programs, translating business requirements into actionable sourcing priorities.
- Lead sourcing processes, ensuring early involvement in development programs to align with financial and program objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and drive key stakeholder demands and requirements.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing performance, aligning strategies and metrics across all categories with business goals.
- Facilitate the flow of critical material cost and supplier information for accurate BOM calculations and program planning.
- Oversee the local RFQ process and early negotiations for new parts, transitioning to Category Management for final agreements.
- Contribute valuable business insights to category strategy development, enhancing overall sourcing effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance and implementation of sourcing policies and strategies within product programs and business units.
Requirements
- Fundamental sourcing experience in a global environment
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of BOM cost calculations and cost management abilities
- Understanding of Nokia Process Management and Networking
- It would be nice if you also had:
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capability
- Basic information about Nokia products, especially RADIO portfolio
- Proven skills in risk assessment and analysis
- Excellent negotiation skills
