Operation and administration of Fibre Channel and SAN storage systems
Support and optimization of the VMware vSphere virtualization environment
Planning and implementation of backup and recovery concepts in an enterprise environment (e.g., Veeam)
Integration and further development of modern storage and infrastructure platforms
Analysis of incidents as well as troubleshooting and performance optimization
Participation in architecture and infrastructure projects
Technical coordination with internal teams and external partners
Participation in a rotating on-call duty (approx. one week per month)

Requirements

Successfully completed vocational training or degree in the IT field, e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration (IT Specialist — System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience operating storage, SAN, or virtualization infrastructures
Solid knowledge of Fibre Channel storage
Strong experience with VMware vSphere
Experience with enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam)
Structured and solution-oriented working style as well as the ability to work in a team
Occasional willingness to travel to the data centers in Frankfurt am Main
Very good German language skills
Nice to have: experience with Ceph storage
Knowledge of alternative virtualization technologies such as Proxmox or KVM
Experience with SAP-related infrastructure or hosting
