• Develop and assess risk management approaches for customer portfolios, including pricing and risk management models for existing and new environmental derivative contracts
• Conduct and review daily backtest and stress tests
• Analyze multi-million row datasets, produce reports to communicate with senior management, and create tools to automate workflows
• Conduct research and synthesize information from a variety of sources, including the internal data, model outputs, and market/industry data and research reports, to monitor the competitive landscape and support the development of new contracts and services
• Manage inquiries from both internal (senior management and the Board) and external (customers and regulators) sources regarding the exchange operations
• Maintain and improve default management framework of the clearing house

• The TechOps team scope at Nodal Exchange covers all data services within the organization including production database management, data transformation processes, reporting infrastructure, test data management, data modeling, and more.
• Nodal seeks candidates who have significant experience with technology delivery and database administration but seek to advance their career by deepening their skills across infrastructure/networking and continuously improving Nodal’s data architecture.
• This candidate will be responsible for providing Data support to teams across the company.
• The candidate is also expected to provide responsive database operational support and modernize data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• You will be part of a team with cross-divisional responsibility for Data Warehousing, Data Self Services, Big Data and Data Science within a regulated environment.
• The candidate is expected to be able to fully understand all components of data architecture (physical/logical replication, monitoring, provisioning, performance tuning at both SQL/system levels, etc.)

General Counsel

• Provide legal and regulatory advice and counsel for Nodal’s exchange and clearing house pursuant to the Commodity Exchange Act and the CFTC Regulations.
• Work with other attorneys in General Counsel’s office and engage with business to address any regulatory or commercial business needs in a legally compliant manner.
• Stay on top of changing regulations and relevant industry trends.
• Assist or lead the preparation, review, editing, or negotiating of business contracts.
• Structure and draft agreements, amendments, addenda, and other documents to comply with new and existing regulatory responsibilities.
• Draft, review, and maintain all company policies and procedures as needed.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the legal needs, policies, and procedures of the business.
