About the role
- Develop and implement paid social media strategies to align with client objectives
- Familiarity with working toward awareness, engagement, and acquisition goals.
- Oversee campaign creation and optimizations across major social platforms
- Manage campaign budgets effectively, tracking spend to ensure alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with both AdOps and analytics teams to ensure proper campaign measurement against key KPIs and identify optimization opportunities.
- Act as the primary client contact for paid social campaigns, regularly communicating campaign performance, insights, and optimizations.
- Handle the QA processes, write offs process, and work with partners.
- Develop and deliver presentations to clients on performance, recommendations, and opportunities.
- Partner with clients to understand and prioritize goals, translating these into paid social strategies.
- Supervise, train, and support Social Media Planners and Assistant Planners, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct team reviews, delivering feedback to promote growth and innovation within the team.
- Set a high standard for strategic thinking, creativity, and account management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and client focus.
- Stay current on social media trends, tools, and platform updates.
- Regularly refine processes for efficiency, incorporating social platform innovations into team practices.
- Build strong relationships with social media platforms and staying informed on new ad offerings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience managing paid social media campaigns, with expertise in platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Pinterest and TikTok.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-budget, high-volume campaigns, with a focus on data-driven optimizations.
- Proven experience onboarding audiences, setting up exclusions and suppressions.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools, including experience with tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Business Manager.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and campaign updates effectively to clients and internal teams.
- Experience leading a team, providing constructive feedback, and developing team members.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
- Competence with AI platforms such as Microsoft CoPilot and ChatGPT
