About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter medication orders and provide customer service for patients in a call center environment
- Accurately enter incoming prescriptions, when required
- Select billing and shipping methods for incoming patient orders
- Cover incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate staff
- Document patient-reported information into TherigySTM
- Resolve customer service issues to ensure member satisfaction
- Resolve payment-related issues on member accounts and orders
- Maintain reasonable production as determined by the supervisor
- Assist in orienting and training new employees
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, as required
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Experience in a customer service-related field
- Pharmacy technician or related certification preferred
- 6–12 months of pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Mississippi employees must be registered with the State of Mississippi as a Pharmacy Technician
- Must pass a drug test
- Subject to initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Must meet any additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
