Smart Contract Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain smart contracts for Noble’s AppLayer and flagship DeFi app, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into robust, gas-efficient Solidity code.
• Integrate new DeFi primitives, features, and protocols into the AppLayer environment.
• Lead contract architecture decisions — from design to deployment — ensuring alignment with security best practices and long-term maintainability.
• Write thorough test suites (unit, integration) to guarantee reliability.
• Collaborate with security auditors and incorporate feedback to harden deployed contracts.
• Monitor, optimize, and upgrade deployed contracts to adapt to evolving user needs and network conditions.
• Contribute to SDKs, developer tooling, and integration guides for external teams building on AppLayer.
• Stay up to date on EVM advancements, Solidity patterns, Layer 2 scalability solutions, and cutting-edge DeFi innovations.
