About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Environmental Services team/department, management, and field staff
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice processing and data entry
- Maintain and update digital and physical records, reports, and documentation
- Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and interdepartmental communications
- Assist with inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and maintaining organized filing systems
- Support project coordination by following up on tasks and ensuring timelines are met
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide customer service to internal and external contacts
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed
- Perform other duties pertinent to the department or unit’s success
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least three (3) years of administrative assistant experience in a professional office environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Must pass a fingerprinting background investigation compliant with applicable acts
- Must speak, understand, read, and write English
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Frequently to constantly able to sit, stand, walk, handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift
