Security Dispatch – Seasonal, Rotational

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides emergency dispatch and call-taking services for the petrochemical industry.
- Dispatches emergency services to fires, medical emergencies, and other situations.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers and other agencies when necessary.
- Receives and routes incoming telephone calls for Greater Prudhoe Bay.
- Utilizes a computer-aided dispatch system for capturing information.
- Monitors various facility alarms and makes notifications to responsible personnel.
- Functions as the phone operator for Greater Prudhoe Bay Field.
- Maintains confidentiality and remains calm during emergencies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have at least two (2) years directly related to this field.
- Must have Intermediate computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft office and contract specific software.
- Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients.
- Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
- Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.

- Candidates residing outside Anchorage area are responsible for their travel expenses for testing.
