About the role
- Support global workforce across US, Canada, UK, South Africa and Australia in employee relations, culture initiatives, and benefits administration
- Serve as trusted business partner to department heads ensuring consistent People practices across locations
- Remote-first with East Coast US timezone; collaborate across UK, Canada, and US
- Manage employee relations processes globally including investigations, disciplinary matters, and policy interpretation
- Develop culture and engagement initiatives; organize volunteering week; team events
- Support performance management processes and provide training to supervisors
- Manage benefits administration across multiple countries, with focus on US open enrollment
- Partner with benefits vendors; maintain data integrity
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with specific expertise in employee relations and benefits administration
- Demonstrated experience managing HR processes across multiple countries, particularly US, Canada as well as the UK and/or South Africa
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations in multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with US benefits administration including open enrollment processes
- Proven track record in organizing culture and engagement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Team player with ability to carry projects with minimal supervision
- High sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail
- Professional HR certification (SHRM or equivalent)
