About the role

  • Coordinates all aspects of managing a donor in the workup process.
  • Assesses donor needs and concerns.
  • Schedules and conducts Health History Screening Questionnaires.
  • Manages scheduling for physical exams and medical clearance.
  • Completes all tasks required for donation.
  • Communicates case progress with Case Manager and donor.
  • Works with third-party physical examination sites.
  • Coordinates the ordering and administration of filgrastim injections.
  • Contacts donor at designated times to assess recovery and arrange blood samples as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree within a health care related field.
  • Three years of experience interacting with patients, clients, or customers in a healthcare, nonprofit, or business setting.
  • Flex working hours based on donors’ needs.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete sensitive data forms.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills dealing with people of different cultures and styles.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong customer service skills.
