About the role

  • We are looking for a French-speaking medical consultant to carry out medical examinations for statutory employees on long-term absence in Brussels and Namur.
  • You will perform follow-up medical assessments and make a decision regarding the employee's incapacity for work based on the medical file and the clinical examination.
  • You will support the employee in their reintegration and return to work.
  • You will inform and advise clients and stakeholders, proposing appropriate solutions tailored to their needs.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: You hold a medical degree that authorizes you to practice medicine in Belgium and possess an INAMI (RIZIV) number.
  • A certificate in insurance medicine and medical expertise, or the willingness to obtain one, is an asset.
  • Behavioral skills: You are solution-oriented and able to use information from multiple sources to arrive at coherent conclusions.
  • You are flexible and committed, acting with consideration and respect for the company’s culture, objectives and values.
