About the role
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex, including triggers and classes.
- Design and automate complex business processes using Salesforce Flow Builder.
- Create and execute test classes to ensure a minimum of 75% code coverage.
- Perform CI/CD activities to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Debug and enhance existing codebases, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment.
- Manage data operations using Salesforce Data Loader and oversee data integrity.
- Maintain and support Salesforce integrations and external data feeds.
- Coordinate evaluation, scoping, and execution of new development requests.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and improve development, governance, and change management processes.
- Support user training efforts and promote adoption of Salesforce capabilities across the organization.
Requirements
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Local to Ashburn, VA and available to work onsite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Active Salesforce Developer certification(s).
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including customization and configuration capabilities.
- Experience developing custom components and solutions to meet business requirements.
- Proficiency with Salesforce best practices, architecture, and standard functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
