About the role
- Provide quality assurance for environmental audit reports to ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural standards.
- Develop and deliver engaging environmental training content, both in-person and online; mentor junior environmental staff.
- Support the client in implementing and updating Environmental Program policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
- Conduct and support environmental compliance and EMS conformance audits; review and refine audit checklists as needed.
- Monitor and assess federal, state, and local environmental regulations impacting client operations, providing recommendations for compliance.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining environmental reports, plans, permits, and other compliance documentation.
- Support emergency response and inspection efforts related to environmental incidents or regulatory reviews.
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives to enhance environmental management efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- US Citizen with ability to obtain public trust
- Bachelor's Degree in environmentally related field
- 5+ years of experience in environmental work, including knowledge of hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support the program, including visits to client field locations and airports within CONUS and OCONUS regions.
