About the role

  • Leverage large datasets to analyse operational performance and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure consistent performance and up-time of the marketplace, proactively addressing issues.
  • Implement and manage tools and processes for continuous optimisation and monitoring of marketplace operations.
  • Design and implement a global hubs strategy to enhance delivery speed and reliability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners to expand global delivery capabilities and ensure marketplace reliability.
  • Create, automate, and maintain reporting tools and dashboards for fulfilment KPIs, SLAs, and strategic tracking.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards across all aspects of the marketplace.
  • Develop and execute strategies for order batching to optimise processing times and reduce costs.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve ultra-fast fulfilment times across all markets.
  • Oversee ongoing fulfilment processes to ensure they are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead automation projects aimed at streamlining marketplace operations from order processing to delivery.
  • Partner with Product, Tech, Data, and Commercial teams to support execution of key business priorities.
  • Report to VP Fulfilment as an individual contributor responsible for marketplace reliability and optimisation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketplace management, operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of driving reliability and optimisation.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, fulfilment processes, and supply chain management.
  • Experience with automation and technology integration in marketplace operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and process design skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience in the diamond or luxury goods industry (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders (preferred).
