You’ll design and own the executive scorecard, defining north-star and driver metrics by segment, product, geo, cohort, and channel.
You’ll create the metric logic, data lineage, and testing so our board and C-suite can fully trust the numbers.
You’ll stand up automated ELT/ETL pipelines from operating systems into our SQL warehouse and model clean data marts for Finance.
You’ll build dashboards that replace manual slides and spreadsheets, and create the semantic layers that make self-serve analytics possible for Finance and the wider business.
You’ll dig into performance vs. plan (weekly, monthly, quarterly), uncovering trends, decomposing variances, and mapping driver trees.
You’ll benchmark Nivoda against other high-growth marketplaces and SaaS businesses, then work with FP&A to turn those insights into action: from forecast updates to pricing experiments and capital allocation calls.
You’ll own metric contracts across Sales, RevOps, Product, Marketing, CS, and Billing — ensuring clean, complete inputs.
You’ll document definitions, run QA checks, and champion data quality and reproducibility across Finance.
You’ll craft clear, visual narratives for business reviews and board decks - translating complexity into sharp, simple insights and next steps.
Requirements
5-8+ years in FP&A analytics, BI, data analytics, or finance data science (tech, consulting, or investment banking ideal)
Expert SQL and strong data modelling / ELT-ETL experience
Proficiency with modern BI tools (Looker, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Mode, Sigma, etc.)
Comfort with Python or R, Git workflows, dbt a plus
Clear communicator with a knack for executive storytelling
Experience building driver trees, forecast monitors, or alerting systems (nice to have)
Hands-on with revenue/billing data (Stripe/Adyen), CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), or product analytics (nice to have)
Exposure to benchmarking high-growth marketplaces or SaaS peers (nice to have)
Strong understanding (or curiosity to learn) of SaaS/marketplace unit economics (nice to have)
