About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Proactively identify and evaluate potential partnerships with payment processors, financial institutions, merchants, and other stakeholders
Develop and execute comprehensive payment network strategies for the Americas region
Lead negotiations and partnership discussions, including contract terms, pricing agreements, and SLAs
Develop and implement market entry strategies for new markets
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Engineering
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, regulatory authorities, and industry associations
Drive project management across key initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record in developing and executing payment network strategies within financial services or payments
Deep experience identifying, building, and managing partnerships with payment processors, financial institutions, and merchants
Strong C-suite relationship management and networking skills
Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics across the US, Canada, Central America, and Latin America
Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
