About the role

  • Own the final technical validation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Lead the year-end process end-to-end with external auditors
  • Implement and enforce group-wide accounting standards
  • Drive the consolidation of subsidiaries and report financial statements to C-level
  • Partner with Data Automation to migrate manual processes into automated systems
  • Document and optimize financial workflows for due diligence processes
  • Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with tax advisors
  • Track bank loan covenants in real time for C-level

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Group Controlling or audit (Big 4 background is a major plus)
  • Knowledge of local GAAP (HGB) and IFRS is a strong advantage
  • Experience with systems such as DATEV or LucaNet
  • Fluent in German and English (both languages are essential for our global setup)
