About the role
- Validate & Plan:
- - Conduct market research with our provider network to identify high-demand product categories and gaps; assess private label options; develop a strategic business plan for launch with early pricing and distribution models.
- Launch & Pilot:
- - Source or formulate initial skincare SKUs (retinol, vitamin C serum, sunscreen, etc.), finalize packaging and branding, and launch a pilot with select clinics.
- - Set up fulfillment logistics (in-house vs drop-ship) and track performance data (sell-through, satisfaction, reorders)
- Scale & Commercialize:
- - Expand to additional clinics, upgrade fulfillment operations, launch provider-facing campaigns and educational webinars, integrate into Nitra’s platform, and build a supporting team (ops, AE, support)
- Grow & Diversify:
- - Build annual and quarterly brand plans with target gross margin and pricing ladders by channel.
- - Partner with Product Development to brief claims, packaging, and innovation pipeline; run sell-in and sell-through plans with Sales.
- - Track GM%, GMROI, velocity, weeks of supply, and returns/chargebacks to optimize promo ROI. Coordinate regulatory and claims reviews with QA and Legal to ensure on-time, in-full launches.
- - Expand the product line into other high-margin wellness verticals (e.g. nutraceuticals, men's care, anti-aging) and lay the foundation for a broader B2B2C platform
Requirements
- 5–8 yrs in beauty/CPG brand management; proven P&L exposure; retailer dynamics (Ulta/Sephora/Amazon/DTC) understanding; strong cross-functional leadership
- Experience with product development (ODM/OEM), formulation management, and vendor/CMO relationships
- Commercial fluency: you understand retail channel dynamics and have operated with P&L exposure (gross margin planning, pricing architecture, GMROI, promo ROI); comfortable with MOQ, lead times, BOM/cost sheets, and vendor terms
- A zero-to-one mindset—self-starter, action-biased, and highly organized
- Experience working directly with customers or clinics to inform GTM strategy
- Strong project management skills and cross-functional coordination abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus: familiarity with medspa retail or aesthetic practice sales channels
