About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own full P&L accountability for assigned large-load customer portfolios, including revenue, costs, capital deployment, profitability, and long-term value creation.
- Drive financial performance by optimizing contract economics, execution efficiency, and customer outcomes.
- Serve as the primary executive contact for assigned customers throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
- Translate contractual obligations into coordinated execution plans across internal teams.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of customer commitments across construction, engineering, operations, finance, billing, and support functions.
- Lead and develop a team of business analysts, project managers, and customer origination professionals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in utility, energy, industrial, infrastructure, commercial operations, portfolio management, account management, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success leading customer portfolios, programs, or contracts with direct responsibility for financial and operational performance.
- Experience owning or influencing P&L outcomes, business case economics, budgeting, profitability, and capital investment decisions.
- Strong understanding of utility contracts, large-load customer requirements, infrastructure delivery, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong customer-facing leadership experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities while managing risk, customer commitments, and business objectives.
