About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for technical accounting analysis across the organization
Provides guidance on complex transactions, new accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements
Researches and documents accounting positions, develops and maintains accounting policies
Assesses the impact of emerging US GAAP and SEC guidance
Partners cross functionally with FP&A, legal, treasury, regulatory, IT, and other business stakeholders
Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly journal entries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject
At least six years relevant work experience in accounting and financial reporting
Prior record of supervisory experience in an accounting environment
Proven ability to successfully lead projects and staff
Working knowledge of FASB and SEC reporting requirements
Strong technical accounting skills and solid understanding of current generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting requirements
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Upon Hire
