Key responsibilities & impact

Provides legal advice to NiSource and its operating companies on complex regulatory matters
Combines knowledge of one or more legal specialties with sound business acumen
Manages complex regulatory matters before several public service commissions
Retains and supervises outside counsel on select matters
Anticipates internal/external business and regulatory issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school
Experience with independent case handling responsibility
Exemplary personal and professional integrity and business ethics
Commitment to diversity and a respect for others
Strong, pragmatic business acumen
Licensed to practice law in at least one state in the U.S. (Maryland and/or Virginia bar license(s) preferred)
