About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads standardization for Operations Work Management.
- Responsible for work readiness which includes coordinating, prioritizing, scheduling and dispatching of construction, system operations and customer programs.
- Develops and implements standard strategic approach for all field work.
- Aligns the organization for acceptance and change of new software process.
- Oversees all applicable gas related work management activities related to large gas projects and related contractor activities.
- Ensures scheduling, prioritization based on risk and compliance and assignment of gas related work.
- Manages QA/QC efforts within the department to ensure compliance and exceptional customer service.
- Maintains partnerships between key organizations to drive successful outcomes.
- Establishes joint accountability and shared metrics with key business partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Operations or Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience in operations or work management related activities
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and understand the big picture
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative partnerships
- Ability to help teams/partners reach consensus
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to drive execution
- Ability to lead teams through significant change
- Proven ability to build organizational talent and create highly successful teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of PC applications
- Ability to travel as needed
- 24/7 operations at times requires availability at night, on weekends, holidays, etc.
- Diverse background across operations, work management activities (planning, scheduling, dispatch)
