About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides value-added financial planning and analysis services across NiSource
- Leads aspects of the annual financial and business plan process
- Monthly results and rolling forecast analysis
- Management and Board reporting along with ad hoc financial analysis
- Proactive leadership, communication, and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with utility, corporate, and operational leaders
- Leads the preparation and distribution of financial performance data
- Identification of business drivers of financial performance and financial plan impacts
- Participates as key financial planning representative in cross-disciplined teams
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing financial analysts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years progressive experience working in Finance, Accounting or other related business field
- Demonstrated strong verbal communication and presentation capabilities
- Ability to build strategic relationships and gain commitment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Financial systems experience
- Strong relationship building skills
- Demonstrated financial technical knowledge
