About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product roadmap and execution, determining what gets built, in what order, and whether it ships
- Talk to customers, brokers, and underwriters to understand needs and prioritize problems
- Set direction for Engineering, Data Science, Actuaries, and GTM across the data-to-underwriting-price workflow
- Shape the longer-term product vision, starting with pricing and expanding across the product suite
- Build core platforms and data foundations spanning pricing, risk, and AI systems across the insurance policy lifecycle
- Make platforms sharper, faster, and more defensible while building a compounding data advantage
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–7 years of experience in Product Management or equivalent roles
- Ideally experience shipping 0–1 products
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with data and numbers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present to customers and internal underwriting audiences
- Credibility with technical partners and understanding of data science and engineering work
- Ability to make sound technical decisions
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams to ship products/features on aggressive timelines
- Bias-to-action and willingness to get hands-on
- End-to-end ownership mentality
- Ability to work successfully in high-growth and dynamic startup environments
- Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Experience building products where pricing or risk models directly drive revenue preferred
- Insurance, lending, or marketplace experience preferred
- B2B or fintech background preferred
