About the role

  • Provide technical leadership for the team responsible for payment systems, ensuring the evolution and stability of the solutions.
  • Work on integrations between payment systems, billing and collections, optimizing flows and processes.
  • Design and evolve integrations with banks, payment gateways and financial institutions, seeking the best solutions in the market.
  • Ensure best practices for security, reliability, scalability and observability of the solutions, protecting customers' financial data.
  • Support architectural decisions and promote software engineering best practices, raising the technical quality of the team.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of payment methods (recurring credit card, boleto (bank slip), PIX, reconciliation and chargebacks/refunds).
  • Experience with bank integrations via APIs, return files, webhooks and reconciliation processes.
  • Functional knowledge of billing, invoicing and collections.
  • Strong experience in software development (backend preferred).
  • Experience with distributed systems architecture and integrations.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, messaging systems and asynchronous integrations.
  • Security best practices, especially for financial flows.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure or GCP (desired).
