About the role

  • Design and build scalable, efficient data pipelines using Python, SQL and the GCP stack.
  • Implement and manage cloud data storage and processing solutions.
  • Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and governance.
  • Optimize query performance and data processing workflows.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and processing.
  • Proven experience with the GCP stack (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud Storage, etc.).
  • Experience in data engineering projects, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse/data lake concepts.
  • Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
