About the role
- Design and build scalable, efficient data pipelines using Python, SQL and the GCP stack.
- Implement and manage cloud data storage and processing solutions.
- Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance.
- Optimize query performance and data processing workflows.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and processing.
- Proven experience with the GCP stack (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud Storage, etc.).
- Experience in data engineering projects, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse/data lake concepts.
- Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
