About the role
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and information availability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand data needs and translate them into efficient solutions.
- Optimize SQL query performance and data structures in large-scale environments.
- Implement and manage data engineering solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Actively participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement of data engineering processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in development with Python.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with the GCP stack (Google Cloud Platform), including services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience working on dynamic data engineering projects.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- GCP or Python certifications (preferred).
