Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the transition from a manual, undocumented environment to infrastructure-as-code
Take ownership of the systems foundation, including Active Directory cleanup and governance
Manage VMware environment and evaluate hypervisor alternatives
Maintain standards in physical datacenter operations
Formally manage a team of three engineers
Collaborate with SRE and corporate IT teams to understand requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience
hands-on depth in VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)
Linux systems administration
infrastructure automation experience
managed or led a small technical team
solid working knowledge of core systems services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
networking fluency a plus
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
