About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis and account reconciliations
- Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
- Assist in streamlining accounting processes and procedures
- Support Accounting Manager with strategic projects
- Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
- Support team members within the Accounting team

Requirements
What you’ll need- Incoming or current senior in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree Program in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner
- Experience with SQL or other relational database tools a plus
- Candidates must be local or able to relocate independently; relocation assistance is not provided
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
