About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor key funnel metrics through reports and dashboards to track channel performance, diagnose deviations, and surface root-cause insights
- Use SQL and Python to analyze funnel trends, quantify drop-off drivers, and provide recommendations to optimize
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Assist in updating and maintaining DBT data models in Snowflake to streamline reporting
- Enhance Periscope dashboards by adding charts and metrics to improve visibility across the marketing funnel
- Partner with Marketing, Risk, and Engineering to implement strategy changes, monitor releases, and conduct post-release impact analysis
- Support the Marketing Analytics team while partnering with Marketing and senior analytics experts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong ability to write queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Comfortable with joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detail
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus, including math, statistics, operations research, quantitative finance, physics, engineering, computer sciences, or related fields
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment is a plus
- Proficiency using Python is a plus
- Candidates must be local to Chicago or able to relocate independently; relocation assistance is not provided
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
