About the role
- Ensure the delivery of our projects: hands-on coding and manage a squad of developers
- Collaborate closely with Product Manager and Tech Leads to deliver projects following best practices
- Work closely with Product Managers to guide clients in product development
- Nurture and assess developers: encourage curiosity, continuous learning, perform one-on-ones and performance reviews
- Participate in recruitment: screening and assessment of candidates and collaborate with Talent Acquisition
- Provide insights and collaborate with Head of Engineering to improve engineering skills and coordinate activities between engineering areas
Requirements
- 10+ years or more of professional web development experience
- Experience in Ruby, or JavaScript (Node.JS), Go, PHP or Python is preferred
- Prior experience as Engineering Lead/Engineering Manager/senior Technical Lead for squads of 5 or more
- At least 2 year of DevOps experience with tools such as: Terraform, Redis, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
- Prior experience in hiring software developers
- Current active software development experience
- Confidence in communicating in English
