About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Americas Professional Leadership Team to support people initiatives and HR programs aligned with Nilfisk’s mission, vision, and values
- Provide HR guidance and expertise in organizational planning, workforce matters, and people-related decisions across the region
- Cultivate an inclusive, values-driven company culture that fosters connection, collaboration, accountability, and performance
- Support change management initiatives and strengthen leadership capabilities across the organization
- Drive employee development through leadership training, coaching, performance management, and career progression programs
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, open feedback, and innovation
- Equip managers with tools and training to lead high-performing, engaged teams
- Utilize people analytics tools (e.g., Workday, Peakon) to monitor engagement, satisfaction, and productivity, turning insights into actionable strategy
- Lead talent management initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and succession planning
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all functions and levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Business Partnering, including at least 2 years partnering and supporting a Sr. Leadership team
- Proven success driving strategic people initiatives, fostering culture, and improving employee engagement
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with broader organizational goals
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally
