About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Field level sales support
- Work with Regional Managers in their geography under the direction of the Regional Director
- Support the Regional Managers’ dealers and end users by conducting equipment demonstrations, equipment use and care training, site surveys
- Assist in supporting trade shows and open houses
- Assist the Regional Director in other business critical functions
- Participate in Nilfisk U Plan 2 weeks in advance and execute call plan and activities in Salesforce.com
- Prepare, manage, and be responsible for demo equipment inventory
- Work in a team environment
- Participate in weekly 1 on 1’s with Regional Director to measure call plan, execution of the call plan and other sales support activities
- Support the local Regional Managers from the direction of the Regional Director on other business critical functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education
- Entry level sales role, all experience levels are welcome
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, have good business acumen and self-discipline
- Display enthusiasm, perseverance, reliability, ethical standards, and strong selling skills
- Strong communication skills and usual management skills of time, ability to respond, sense of urgency, prioritize efforts and problem solving
- Willingness to travel overnight on an occasional basis
- Willing and able to conduct seminars, extensive building evaluations, and recommend equipment for respective applications
- Able to successfully pass a physical including lifting, standing for prolonged periods, driving for safe periods of time
- Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
- Proficiency in use of Salesforce.com (web and mobile versions)
