About the role
- Lead development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of inbound supply chains for global Production Companies and Distribution Centers
- Drive supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and financial metrics (working capital, inventory values, payment terms)
- Negotiate and manage strategic agreements (stocking, frame, standard supplier, Min/Max agreements)
- Develop and execute mid- to long-term category strategies aligned with company and customer needs
- Scout and introduce innovative technology solutions with R&D and Product Management
- Own and maintain a dynamic category pipeline including negotiation, resourcing, optimization, and VAVE initiatives
- Partner with Sourcing Project Managers to ensure flawless execution of pipeline projects
- Influence product success and operational efficiency across multiple production companies and distribution centers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain leadership
- Proven success in supplier negotiations and relationship management
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SAP ERP experience preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (plus)
