About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead IT and digital projects end‑to‑end, from initiation and PID preparation to execution, go‑live, and hypercare
  • Establish and manage scope, timeline, budget (Capex/Opex), risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and decision structures within the project organization
  • Partner with business owners and solution owners to translate business needs into clear project scope and deliverables
  • Act as the primary interface between business, IT, vendors, and global stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and timely decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documents (PID), business cases, and supporting documentation in line with Nilfisk standards
  • Ensure adherence to IT security, GDPR, architecture, procurement, and portfolio governance requirements
  • Report project status, risks, and progress to relevant governance forums, including portfolio reviews where required
  • Coordinate planning across internal teams and external partners, including resource planning and vendor management
  • Support change management, user readiness, and handover to operations, including definition and execution of hypercare activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background in IT with experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or similar role.
  • Experience with both waterfall and Agile projects.
  • Experience with system integrations, security reviews, and data privacy. Knowledge of manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to talk to both software engineers and business.
  • User-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and solving user pain points.
  • Your colleagues experience you as a team player who is passionate about what you do and can sell your ideas. You are a natural presenter that can get your message across.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • You are expected to work from the Budapest office at least 3 days per week, with the option of working from home 2 days per week.
