About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead IT and digital projects end‑to‑end, from initiation and PID preparation to execution, go‑live, and hypercare
Establish and manage scope, timeline, budget (Capex/Opex), risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and decision structures within the project organization
Partner with business owners and solution owners to translate business needs into clear project scope and deliverables
Act as the primary interface between business, IT, vendors, and global stakeholders
Ensure stakeholder alignment and timely decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documents (PID), business cases, and supporting documentation in line with Nilfisk standards
Ensure adherence to IT security, GDPR, architecture, procurement, and portfolio governance requirements
Report project status, risks, and progress to relevant governance forums, including portfolio reviews where required
Coordinate planning across internal teams and external partners, including resource planning and vendor management
Support change management, user readiness, and handover to operations, including definition and execution of hypercare activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background in IT with experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or similar role.
Experience with both waterfall and Agile projects.
Experience with system integrations, security reviews, and data privacy. Knowledge of manufacturing operations is a plus.
Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to talk to both software engineers and business.
User-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and solving user pain points.

You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
You are expected to work from the Budapest office at least 3 days per week, with the option of working from home 2 days per week.
