About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead month-end close activities related to cost accounting
  • Manage balance sheet integrity, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Lead revenue recognition processes including Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting
  • Monitor and analyze project financials, including cost-to-complete and margin analysis
  • Manage contract-related accounts like unbilled revenue and deferred revenue
  • Partner with project managers for accurate cost tracking and revenue recognition
  • Drive cost accounting activities including standard cost updates and variance analysis
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for project-level and company-wide planning
  • Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, cost, and cash flow projections
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards related to revenue recognition
  • Support audit processes including revenue recognition documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Strong experience with POC / ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Experience in project-based or long-term contract environments
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting and margin analysis
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
