About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implements the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of the manufacturing facility’s physical infrastructure.
  • Contributes to maintaining buildings, equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure optimal support for production operations, employee safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Works closely with operations, engineering, EHS (environment, health & safety), and supply chain teams to enable smooth day-to-day manufacturing and long-term facility reliability.
  • Plans, schedules, and executes preventive and corrective maintenance for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, water treatment, etc.).
  • Coordinates service contracts, outside vendors, and contractors for facility repairs and capital projects.
  • Ensures facilities comply with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Partners with the EHS team to implement safety programs, audits, and corrective actions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of experience as a facilities specialist or maintenance technician in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and proficiency diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fluid systems/equipment.
  • Experience working on various material handling equipment such as electric pallet jackets, forklifts, and overhead and jib cranes.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • Ability to work on-site during operational hours with occasional overtime as required.
