About the role

  • Coordinate project activities assigned by the AMS Manager focusing on schedules, budgets, risks and mitigations
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned project work; monitor work for on-time release and delivery
  • Understand cost accounting and manage risks/opportunities
  • Create and edit bills of materials
  • Maintain regular contact with project clients and equipment vendors
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project management issues
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Apply NCI methodology and enforce project standards
  • Identify project stakeholders and determine their needs and expectations
  • Generate project schedules, budgets, statements of work and customer status reports
  • Generate monthly project status updates and manage day-to-day project communications
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as necessary to meet changing requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience required
  • Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Advance knowledge of project management standards and best practices
  • Must possess data management and problem-solving expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Pack Office in GAL preferred
  • Understands cost accounting and risk/opportunity management
  • Creates and edits bill of materials
  • Skilled in motivating team members and resolving conflicts
  • Experience with performance management and ability to evaluate situations quickly and accurately
  • Must have change management and customer relations management experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, talk and hear, and use hands and fingers
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs may be required
  • Willingness/ability to travel to customer offices, production facilities or industrial/construction job sites
  • Compliance with safety training and PPE requirements
