About the role
- Managing all sales activities within the assigned markets and territory.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Developing and implementing sales plans tailored to the regional market to drive sales growth.
- Tracking, recording, and compiling reports, utilizing Salesforce CRM, on pipeline, funnel and bookings.
- Collaborating with the Aftermarket sales team and other departments such as marketing and customer service to achieve sales objectives and enhance the client experience.
- Ensuring the highest levels of service standards and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Making presentations to clients, service offerings and developing product solutions tailored to their business needs.
- Leading negotiations with clients, including finalizing contracts and agreements.
- Acting as a brand ambassador - representing and promoting the company's values and products at all times, including at industry events and trade shows.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business degree, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in aftermarket sales or business development relevant to the Aerospace or Industrial Gas markets, selling cryogenic equipment, pumps or rotating equipment.
- Experience in the commercial space sector (launch systems, orbital services, or spaceflight operations) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of successfully growing sales.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
