About the role
- Lead global marine operations across service facilities, shipyards, and offshore support locations.
- Drive execution of complex projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction at every stage.
- Establish and enforce compliance with international safety and environmental regulations, as well as marine classification society standards.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global team of managers, engineers, and field service technicians.
- Develop and optimize operational processes, driving continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align marine service operations with customer needs and business growth objectives.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, budgets, KPIs, and strategic resource planning.
- Represent Nikkiso as a trusted thought leader within the global marine and clean energy sectors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior leadership in marine operations, LNG, offshore, or shipyard services.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site and/or global marine service organizations.
- Deep understanding of international marine regulations, safety codes, and classification society requirements.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in P&L management and operational performance metrics.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop talent and lead diverse, cross-cultural teams.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with cryogenic systems, LNG bunkering infrastructure, or hydrogen-related projects.
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fluency in additional languages to support global operations.
