About the role
- Co-create and lead territory strategies that shape the future of Soccer Team Sales.
- Seek, Sign, and Serve the North America Soccer Team Sales community, delivering seasonal Nike initiatives and providing partners with the strategy, storytelling, and product details they need each season.
- Lead the execution of Team Sales agreements and seasonal business plans, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and track sales strategies, key product launches, and territory performance.
- Drive accurate forecasting, scenario planning, business analysis, and new opportunity development.
- Work directly with accounts to elevate their business strategy, strengthen their marketplace execution, and meet the evolving needs of Soccer Team Sales consumers.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of experience in field sales management within the sports industry, spanning areas such as field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales planning, or business analysis.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong understanding of the sports industry, including product knowledge and marketplace trends; a passion for sports—and especially soccer/global football—is preferred.
- Proven experience implementing sales programs, policies, and methodologies, along with the ability to use financial models to make sound decisions and translate insights into accurate business plans and revenue forecasts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals, objectives, and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, plan, and deliver engaging and persuasive presentations.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions that drive business results.
- Resides in or near the Cincinnati, OH area.
