About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the organization's core technical infrastructure — including networks, servers, systems, and cloud/hosting environments
- Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available, translating infrastructure strategy into operational execution
- Manage and maintain the organization's network, server, and systems infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
- Lead infrastructure transformation and upgrade projects to enable the organization to scale
- Implement and maintain infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Oversee systems and network architecture, capacity planning, and disaster recovery/business continuity readiness
- Partner cross-functionally to assess and address the organization's technology infrastructure needs
- Manage infrastructure projects from conception to implementation and evaluation
- Manage the infrastructure budget and ensure resources and assets are utilized within approved budget
- Monitor information security principles and practices as they relate to infrastructure systems
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure
- Identify, develop, and implement process/policy improvements within the infrastructure team
- Participate in hiring activities including candidate selection and interviews for infrastructure roles
- Support collaborators on the infrastructure team in training, development, performance, and competency alignment
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required
- Demonstrated a minimum of seven years of experience in IT infrastructure roles is required
- Demonstrated a minimum of three years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required
- Demonstrated experience in systems and network architecture, information security principles, and IT best practices
- Demonstrated experience conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is required
