About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepares and processes Federal Student Aid and military funds in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and guidelines
- Provides document review for accuracy, compliance, and completeness
- Reviews prospective and current learner documents to verify eligibility, completeness, and accuracy necessary to draw Title IV and military funds
- Completes the verification process including reviewing verification documents and ensuring no conflicting information
- Ensures documents associated with ISIR rejections, C-codes, and conflicting information meet Title IV requirements
- Attends meetings and conferences as necessary to enhance existing knowledge of financial aid policies, practices, and procedures
- Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of two years experience professional experience preferably in an institution of higher learning or student funding
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Student Aid and/or military funding
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
