About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepares and assist in the application and delivery of Federal Student Aid and military funds for new and current learners
  • Provides document review for accuracy, compliance, and completeness in preparation for the delivery and coordination of federal, state, and institutional funds
  • Provides support the Learner Funding Advisor Function by tracking Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR), reviewing learner’s documents to clear verification, C codes, Unusual Enrollment History (UEH), and conflicting data
  • Verifies data accuracy, and assists in preparing disbursements for electronic delivery of Title IV and military funds
  • Advises learners and parents regarding academic and career objectives in relation to higher education funding
  • Analyzes learners’ eligibility for a variety of aid programs, including Title IV, military, and other funding
  • Assists all learners, learner families, and other relevant parties who may be involved in funding options
  • Reviews current learner documents to verify eligibility, completeness, and accuracy as required to draw Title IV and military funds

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience preferably in an institution of higher learning or student funding
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Student Aid and/or military funding
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
