Development, administration, teaching, and evaluation of learners in one (or more) of the College’s general education courses.
Teach primarily online didactic courses.
Advise and mentor students and monitor learner performance in accordance with course objectives and published schedules under the Director, General Education.
Assist learners with study problems and with evaluating their potential for successful achievement in course or discipline.
Maintain accurate attendance and performance records of learners and submit required reports according to published deadlines.
Attend faculty meetings and other faculty activities as required.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in English, Writing, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline being taught.
Demonstrated experience in higher education, preferably online education.
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
