About the role

  • Lead the company's long-range strategic financial planning process
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate and execute on strategic initiatives, including new product launches, and market expansion
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Product Leadership and other senior leaders across the organization, providing financial insights, and supporting their decision-making
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial models for strategic initiatives to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support business case analysis, and long range scenario planning
  • Implement a product P&L reporting process to assess performance, identify profitability drivers, and support product lifecycle decisions on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to inform financial strategy and business planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking
  • Media industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of corporate finance principles
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing team members
  • Proficiency with financial systems (SAP Analytics Cloud strongly preferred) and advanced Excel PowerPoint and Google Suite skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
