About the role
- Own and execute the sales strategy for the Pharma/Healthcare vertical as a player/coach, identifying high-value targets and growth opportunities
- Directly manage high-value accounts and full-cycle enterprise deals from prospecting to close
- Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of Account Executives to scale growth
- Leverage knowledge of Pharma/Healthcare to position Nielsen’s audience measurement solutions
- Build and expand trusted relationships with senior marketing and analytics leaders at major Pharma/Healthcare brands
- Lead cross-functional engagement with agency, product, solution consulting, and marketing teams to deliver holistic client solutions
- Manage accurate forecasting and pipeline development using Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Track and communicate progress against goals and KPIs; influence internal stakeholders with data-driven updates
- Act as the voice of the Pharma/Healthcare client within Nielsen to inform go-to-market strategy and product roadmap
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in data, measurement, SaaS, or media/advertising solutions
- At least 3+ years selling into Pharma/Healthcare accounts
- At least 2+ years managing a team
- Existing network and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare ecosystem
- Proven player-coach experience (hands-on seller and people manager)
- Consistently exceeded quota in high-value sales environments
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Consultative sales approach using insights and storytelling to influence senior stakeholders
- Proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
- Experience building trusted relationships with CMOs, Heads of Media, and Digital/Analytics leaders
