About the role

  • Own and execute the sales strategy for the Financial Services vertical
  • Manage key accounts and full-cycle enterprise deals from prospecting to close
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing team of Account Executives
  • Build and expand relationships with CMOs, Heads of Media, and Digital/Analytics leaders
  • Lead cross-functional engagement with agency, product, solution consulting, and marketing teams
  • Manage forecasting and pipeline using Salesforce and tools such as SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Track and communicate progress against goals and KPIs and influence internal stakeholders with data-driven updates
  • Act as the voice of the Financial Services client within Nielsen and share market feedback to shape strategy and product roadmaps

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in data, measurement, SaaS, or media/advertising solutions
  • at least 3+ years selling into Financial Services accounts
  • at least 2+ years managing a team
  • existing network and deep understanding of the banking, insurance, and/or wealth management ecosystem
  • proven player-coach with hands-on sales experience
  • consistently exceeded quota in high-value sales environments
  • ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • consultative sales approach using insights and storytelling to influence senior stakeholders
  • adept at using Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo
  • Bonus: Experience working with or selling to large U.S. banks, global insurers, asset managers, or fintechs
