About the role

  • Manage the local accounting and controllership function
  • Oversee statutory and tax compliance (preparation of Local GAAP statutory financial statements and tax calculations)
  • Maintain local statutory accounts and ensure ongoing compliance with local regulations for the French legal entities
  • Act as the single point of contact for internal auditors and for tax, legal authorities or external advisors
  • Ensure compliance with applicable global, regional and local policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure accurate performance and reporting on US GAAP accounting/close, accruals, and balance sheet (BS) account reconciliations
  • Lead financial close processes (monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting)
  • Prepare tax reporting under US GAAP and coordinate local corporate income tax (CIT) submissions
  • Prepare monthly VAT returns in accordance with local requirements
  • Submit Intrastat declarations (DES)
  • Prepare annual fees declarations (DAS 2)
  • Prepare statutory financial statements
  • Support procure-to-pay functions (approve payments, act as point of contact for AP escalations, etc.)
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Maintain internal controls and promote an effective control environment through active coordination with the Group Controller and International Core teams

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in accounting and controllership
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Fluency in both English and French is mandatory
  • Proven knowledge of French statutory requirements (VAT, SFS, CIT) is mandatory
  • SAP user experience and prior work in an international company is an advantage
  • Experience with a dual chart of accounts and US GAAP is an advantage
  • Local or international accounting qualification is a plus
  • Proficient with standard IT tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and attention to detail
